Highlights from past work:

My most interesting restoration projects to date include the following projects:

 

Andahuylillas Church: known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas

My involvement in restoring this church include:

  • Total restoration of the organ built in 1636, including the organ pipes and bellows

  • Cleaning the alter bells made by the black smith of the King of Atorias ( 1745)

  • Restoring the original cedar and alder pews from the 17th century

  • Cleaning of the main alter’s silver and gold. 

  • Cleaning of the silver and gold clerical vestiments (chasubles) from the 17th century.

Cusco city’s main Cathedral

In Cusco’s main cathedral, I was involved in the complete restoration of the frescos in the Sacred Family Chapel by the Artista Diego Cusihuaman and several 18th century paintings, including paintings by Marco Zapata.

Museum of the Merced Temple

In this museum, I worked on the restoration of the 18th century oil painting collection about the life of San Pedro Nolasco by the artist Marco Zapata 1748 - 1764
